Braveheart: Scottish Kilt

Nearly everyone you know has watched Braveheart, loved it, and even remember a lot of quotes from the film. This Oscar-winning epic war film became one of the most successful movies back in the 1990s. No one can forget Mel Gibson’s breathtaking performance when he played the role of William Wallace, a Scottish warrior.
However, what most people failed to notice is that the kilt that William Wallace uses in this film wouldn’t be around during the 13th century, which was when he was alive. In fact, the kilt appeared only three hundred years later! That’s right. Despite this wardrobe malfunction, the film is iconic, memorable, and it doesn’t really make much of a difference overall!
