Public Enemies: The Robe

Johnny Depp’s character, Judge Murray, uses a very beautiful robe in 2009 Public Enemies. However, what most people didn’t know is that this Depression-Era character wouldn’t have possibly used this piece of clothing if it really was in that era.

In fact, it would have been a much different robe, much heavier, and hotter than the one he’s wearing. And let’s be honest, Johnny Depp doesn’t look like he’s sweating it too much. However, this robe looks much better on him than the historically accurate one. Good on the production of the film for causing this wardrobe malfunction for style this time around!
