Two decades after its release, Pearl Harbor remains one of the most famous historical films ever. When it comes to period dramas, as you’ve seen, it can be quite challenging to get all the facts right. After all, most of the crew making these movies were usually not alive when the films are set.

Unfortunately, even Pearl Harbor suffers from some historical inaccuracies. Throughout the film, women are seen in skits without any stockings or the like, something that would have been considered genuinely scandalous at the time! It’s unlikely that so many women would have decided to be so bold.
