Generations of Acting Powerhouses
Jamie Lee Curtis and her mother, the legendary Janet Leigh, both rose to fame as “Scream Queens” in iconic horror films: Jamie in 1978’s “Halloween” and her mom in 1960’s “Psycho.” Their shared experiences in Hollywood, particularly in similar genres, created a unique bond.
In 1998, they even worked together in “Halloween: H20,” where Janet appeared. Interestingly, she advised her daughter against entering the acting profession until she turned 18, but Jamie’s breakout role in “Halloween” soon followed, cementing her as a significant figure in horror cinema. This mother-daughter duo relationship also shone through in this Studio 54 snapshot, where they donned almost similar outfits!
