Some Sage Advice

Mosquitoes and sage have a long history of incompatibility, at least in American folk culture. There’s a general belief that if you leave sage out, or use it as an incense, the mosquitoes will stay away. This ancient method has been tested and the results were incredible. You see, while there’s no scientific evidence pointing to its efficacy, small studies showed that sage repelled nearly 60% of mosquitoes.
While certainly not as good as bug spray or the like, even a slight chance at blocking a mosquito bite it worth the shot! So, you may want to consider packing some sage with you the next time you head out on a camping trip.
