When Gray discovered that the SD remained intact, she felt another wave of excitement flow through her. “My first thought about the camera was, are there still images on the card?” she recalled. In a later interview, months after finding the camera, Gray could still barely contain how excited she felt about solving this long-forgotten mystery.
After removing the SD card from the camera, Gray carefully cleaned all of the SD card with an earbud and rubbing alcohol. Then, with fingers crossed, Gray placed the card into her computer and took a deep breath. The moment of truth was here… and the memory card worked!
