127 Hours (2010)

127 Hours is a drama film that came out in 2010 and which features probably one of the most horrific scenes I’ve ever laid my eyes on. The character Aron Ralston, played by James Franco, gets stuck with his arm under a boulder while on a trip in a canyon.

The movie is actually based on a real event and Aron Ralston is an actual real person who had to live through this fate. Ralston in the movie, as well as in real life, is forced to cut off his own arm after a long deliberation in order to escape. Many people have paused this moment in the movie.
