Give It A Little More Time
As stated, little Aliya had just started kindergarten. Her life was now filled with new people, places, and things. So, Tomas’ friends suggested that he give it a bit more time before he started trying to figure out “what was wrong.” Most of them believed that Aliya would soon work through her problems on her own.
Deep in his heart, Tomas thought his friends were likely right. So, he tried not to panic and instead continued to watch how his daughter behaved outside of school and how she talked about school in general. In time, the father hoped his little girl would grow out of the scared shadow she had become. Unfortunately, it would not be that easy…
