Starting A Petition

Eventually, Toma and Laici had the fantastic idea of forming an official petition to “remove Mrs. Duncan from classrooms.” After all, while the protests brought attention to their cause, there was nothing to rally around. So, they sat down, wrote, and published a petition on the popular petition site Change.Org. Tomas wanted help from across the country, especially from other parents and teachers who condemned Mrs. Duncan’s horrible actions.

In the end, Tomas hoped that these signatures would force the local school to make a different decision. Amazingly, people from all around the world rallies around Tomas and his cause!
