Lisa Riley – 170 Pounds

When actress Lisa Riley returned to the British soap opera Emmerdale in 2019, after an 18-year break, audiences could not believe their eyes. In just under two decades, Riley had managed to lose a whopping 170 pounds, dropping from a size 28 to a size 12. In fact, writers had to write her weight loss into the character’s story of what happened during her 18-year absence!

Today, even after having been skinny for over two years, Riley can still hardly believe it. “It’s hard for me to see my reflection now. I used to have a shelf from here to here and where’s that gone?” she recently explained to Express. “It is insane. I looked so different before. I was happy before but now I am happy and proud. I needed to do it though.”
