In 2008, Nevada courts convicted the former players on 12 different counts related to a robbery and kidnapping case. Afterward, a judge sentenced him to 33 years, nine minimum. In 2017, after serving the minimum amount of time, the Nevada Parole Board released Simpson. Of course, as you might expect, all these legal troubles have severely impacted Simpson’s net worth.
