Beyoncé and Jay-Z – 16 Years Together

Beyoncé was only 19 and still a member of the female pop group Destiny Child’s when she first met her future husband, rapper and producer Jay-Z. They met in late 1999, becoming friends when Beyoncé featured on a song by one of Jay-Z’s protégés, Amil.

While the couple has always been very vague as to when their relationship went from platonic to romantic, Jay-Z confirmed to Vanity Fair that they were officially a couple by 2003. Apparently, it happened after working together on the song “03 Bonnie and Clyde.” By 2008, they were a married couple and now have three children together: Blue Ivy, and twins Sir and Rumi, born in 2017.
