Christian Bale and Sibi Blazic – 21 Years Together

There are plenty of celebrities who like to flaunt their relationships on the red carpet. However, others, like actor Christian Bale and wife Sibi Blazic, prefer to keep their personal life out of the public view. Blazic and Bale first met in 1999, when she worked as an assistant to Winona Ryder, and started dating immediately. As the two are very private people, they kept their relationship under wraps. They also secretly married within a year of dating, in Las Vegas. An Elvis impersonator reportedly even officiated the marriage!

Still, Bale knows when to take the time to thanks his wife publicly. When he won the best Best Supporting Actor Oscar in 2011, Bale said: “[My wife] had to be married to so many different characters over our marriage. I know that it truly would be impossible to do it without her. She’s such a good, strong woman.”
