Jay and Mavis Leno – 39 Years Together

As almost any celebrity will tell you, it’s essential to have someone in your corner. So, comedian Jay Leno must feel incredibly grateful that his wife, Mavis Leno, has been there since the begging. Believe it or not, they first met a comedy club in 1976, where Mavis saw Jay performing one of his first sets ever! Incredibly, Mavis was brave enough to approach the comedian after the show and ask for a date. Four years later, they married.

While this might seem like blink luck, Jay has another, more interesting theory. According to the man himself, he’s oddly dated many women over the years with the same birthday: September 5th. And that includes his wife! “I don’t know what it is,” he told the Los Angeles Times. “I don’t look for a woman born on September 5th, I just wind up attracted to them!”
