The 67-year-old star met his wife, 28-year-old Ph.D. student Laura Savoie, at a business event in early 2019. “I didn’t go out looking for an age gap or someone really younger than me. I met her at a business event and then the relationship developed,” Quaid explained.
Less than a year after they started dating, the couple eloped in Santa Barbara. “And we’re really glad we did,” Quaid said of eloping. “It was about us. It was beautiful.” Now, they’re living their best life while Savoie finishes school and Quaid keeps cranking out hits. We wish them all the best!
