Bette Midler & Elton John – Floral & Fangs
The 2005 New York Restoration Project’s masquerade ball wouldn’t have been the same without the flamboyant arrivals of Bette Midler and Elton John. Bette, ever the vibrant soul, blossomed into a multicolored flower costume. Elton, on the other hand, took a more theatrical approach.
While the masquerade ball traditionally called for masked attire, Elton opted to embrace the event’s “Hulaween” theme. His devilish vampire attire added a touch of playful surprise, showcasing his signature ability to blend classic style with unexpected twists. Together, their contrasting costumes became a highlight of the evening, a perfect embodiment of the fun and creativity the night inspired.
