Elton John and Zachary and Elijah Furnish-John

Singer and songwriter Sir Elton John certainly needs no introduction, as he’s one of the most famous musicians of all time. Sadly, if you’ve never seen him live, you might never get the chance to see John perform. Why? Well, following the conclusion of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road in 2023, the piano star will stop touring to focus on raising his children, Zachary and Elijah Furnish-John.

John and his husband, Canadian filmmaker David Furnish,  welcomed their children via surrogacy, Zachary in 2010, and Elijah in 2013, both via the same surrogate mother. “I’ve never experienced anything like it, being a father,” John said on Good Morning America, adding that “there’s no contest” between being a father and a rock star.
