Finishing What They Started

Sue and Noel Radford announced that Bonnie would be their last child. “We are sure that’s it now,” said Sue. “I think about increasing risks with my age and I’ve been more tired with the last two pregnancies. My mum always says, ‘Finish with what you started on.’”

Still, few believed them, as Sue had said similar statements before. However, they seemed more sure this time around. “We’ve both decided we don’t want any more. Bonnie has completed our family,” Sue said. Meanwhile, Noel chimed in, “Some people decide to stop after two or three kids. We’ve made it after 21.” Unfortunately for Noel and Sue, not even their kids were buying these declarations!
