Character: Priya Koothrappali

Priya Koothrappali is Raj’s younger sister and is therefore protected under his eagle eyes as long as she’s in Pasadena. Priya came to America and stayed with Raj for a brief period of time. During that time, she engages herself in a romantic relationship his Leonard, ignoring his brother’s protests. What’s more, she is an accomplished attorney, licensed to practice law in 3 countries.

Throughout Priya and Leonard’s relationship, she tests Leonard with steadily increasing demands –contact lenses, clothing, and shopping. However, her final request is for him to diminish or eliminate ties with Penny. Meanwhile, Penny, Amy, and Bernadette band together to vent about Priya’s controlling behavior. Eventually, the two of them decide to go their separate ways!
