A Record-Breaking Bikini March
Surfers Paradise transformed into an extraordinary spectacle in 2011 as 357 women wore bikinis for a cause beyond sunbathing. They were out to break the Guinness World Record for the largest bikini parade. This remarkable event turned the iconic Australian beach into a vibrant runway of beachwear fashion.
However, this record only held for a short time. Huludao in China upped the ante with 1,085 participants the following year, setting the new benchmark for the world’s largest bikini parade. This evolution of records showcases the global appeal of fun and somewhat quirky challenges and celebrates community spirit in an upbeat, sun-soaked setting.
