Compromise Reached

Eventually, a compromise was made. The bear would remain in a secure annex behind the ER, near the pups, but separated by reinforced glass. Hana helped set up blankets and a corner with fresh water. As soon as the pups were wheeled into view, the bear lay down peacefully, eyes never leaving them.
