Going Viral

Within just a few weeks, Stacey Faix and Steven Strawn’s story had gone viral, all around the world. Not only did many of Faix’s daughter’s followers share the story, but it eventually even media outlets like CNN, ABC News, and Insider Edition also ran the story, bringing it to an even wider audience. Soon enough, Faix and Strawn found themselves minor celebrities!

While most found the video and tale supremely sweet, others did find it a tad funny that the mother and son ran immediately after. “If I met my birth mother at a race, I wouldn’t be able to run after meeting her! Lol. This is so sweet,” one commenter wrote.
