In case you hadn’t heard, one of Hollywood’s most beloved actresses, Drew Barrymore, is a big supporter of wearing no makeup. Over the years, Barrymore has posted quite a few photos of herself without makeup. Oddly, one received a negative reaction, with some saying that the actress took the “no filter” look one step too far, since she has the money to pay for good skincare. Some people just can’t make up their minds!
However, the E.T. the Extra-Terrestial actress isn’t posting the sans-cosmetics photos for her fans, critics, or even herself! They’re for her daughters. “I’m now determined more than ever to show my daughters that aging is a luxury,” Barrymore revealed to People. “If we’re lucky, we are all going to age. I just want them to be at peace with who they are and not what they look like.”
