Actress-singer Janis Paige is one of the last survivors of Hollywood’s Golden Age. Paige started her acting career right after she finished school and moved to Los Angeles, right as World War II was beginning. In fact, one of Page’s gigs was working for the US Air Force as a pin-up singer called “Black Widow Girl.”

Afterward, Paige move on to Broadway, where she became a minor success, thanks to the 1951 comedy-mystery play, Remains to Be Seen. However, it wasn’t until 1954 that she finally had her breakthrough role as “Babe” in the Broadway musical, The Pajama Game. As of today, Paige is retired and enjoys a private life with her $1 million net worth!
