Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson – 34 Years Together

Actor Tom Hanks and actress and country singer Rita Wilson first met on the set of the show Bosom Buddies, the improvised sitcom where Hanks got his start. The two remained friends until they worked together again in the 1985 film Volunteers. They began dating a year later and were married by 1988.

Since then, Hanks and Wilson have welcomed two children: Chester and Truman. Before the wedding, Hanks actually joined the Greek Orthodox church, a moment that was one of the inspirations for the famous baptism scene in My Big Fat Greek Wedding, which Wilson produced. Today, the couple is stronger than ever, recently overcoming a battle against Covid-19 together.
