Kobe Bryant and Vanessa Laine – 21 Years Together

Former basketball all-star Kobe Bryant met his future wife, Vanessa Laine, in 1999, very far away from the basketball court. Believe it or not, the two met while working on his debut rap album, which Sony ultimately pulled from release. While the album deal did not last long, Bryant and Laine’s love did!

After six months of dating, Bryant and Laine became engaged in 2000 and married in 2001 in Dana Point, California. According to Laine’s cousin, there was no prenup, as Bryant “loved [Laine] too much for one.” Even though the famous couple went through some rough patches in their relationship, they stayed together and in love until Bryant’s untimely and tragic death in 2020.
