Leonardo DiCaprio – Blackadore Caye, Belize, $1.75 Million

Plenty of stars own celebrity mansions. However, people like Leonardo DiCaprio take it one step further and buy their own islands! Back in 2005, DiCaprio acquired Blackadore Caye, a 104-acre island located in Belize. Since then, the legendary actor has been pouring in millions of dollars in hopes of one day turning it into an eco-resort.
Though still under construction, the resort will host 36 villas, plus 36 residential homes, each pricing at upwards $5 million. With DiCaprio’s passion for all environmental things, the project is a green one. In fact, only local materials are used during construction. Meanwhile, all structures on Blackadore will be solar-powered. Even the food will be all-organic, and only reusable water bottles will be sold on the island!
