Rosie O’Donnell – Star Island, $19.5 Million

After being fired from Oprah’s network in 2012, it didn’t seem like Rosie O’Donnell could turn things around. However, after a few great roles and selling the majority of her homes, O’Donnell is now a comeback! One of the homes she could not part with, though, is her home in Flordia. Not that the actress and talk show host didn’t try – she just can’t seem to find a buyer.
O’Donnell picked the massive 11,000-square-foot, 6-bedroom home back in 1999, at the height of her popularity. Immediately, she got to work, making it her own, renovating it top to bottom. It now has a new master bedroom with a private office, multiple fireplaces, a dock, and even a guardhouse! While an appraiser lists the home’s value at around $8 million, O’Donnell’s unwilling to part with it for any less than $19 million. Maybe that’s why she can’t find a buyer!
