Meryl Streep and Don Gummer – 42 Years Together

Actress Meryl Streep met her first husband, director John Cazale, while filming The Deer Hunter. Unfortunately, Cazale tragically died of bone cancer shortly after, leaving a heartbroken Streep behind. A friend of her brother’s, artist Don Gummer, offered her to stay at his apartment while he was out of town. When he returned, Streep simply didn’t leave.

The two fell quickly and deeply in love, tying the knot shortly after in 1978. These days, the couple has a son, Henry, a musician, and three daughters: Mamie, Grace – both actresses – and Louise, model. As you can see, they are not just a power couple, but rather a power family!
