Don’t remember actor Jaleel White or recognize him sitting on his stylish sports car? That’s Steve Urkel, from Family Matters, all grown up! Urkel initially started as a side character on the hit ’80s sitcom, with only a few scenes. However, audiences adored Urkel, and White’s performance, so much that he eventually became a main character on Matters!
Once Matters ended in 1997, White quickly kept himself busy. He continued starring in television roles on the likes of Boston Legal and House, while putting himself through USC’s film school. Most recently, White appeared on Dancing with the Stars and reprised his role of Urkel on the animated series Scooby-Doo and Guess Who? As a result, he’s managed to accumulate quite the $12 million fortune!
