Lola Falana – 81-Years-Old
Legendary singer-dancer Lola Falana seems to defy the laws of both time and physics, as she appears virtually unchanged at the age of 78. Born and raised in southern New Jersey, Falana became a fixture on television variety shows throughout the 1970s. Afterward, she moved to Las Vegas, where she enjoyed a long-lasting headlining act on the Strip.
Sadly, Falana had no choice but to retire early due to multiple sclerosis, which she developed in the late ’80s. Then, the incurable disease resurged in the ’90s, threatening her health once again. Unsurprisingly, she struggles with M.S. led Falana to convert to Roman Catholicism. These days, she spends the majority of her time traveling the country on faith-based missions, which she says keeps her youthful!
